The Tektronix DA4084 Programmable Distortion Analyzer System is a precision audio measurement instrument designed for automated testing of distortion, noise, and signal integrity in audio equipment. This plug-in analyzer for the TM5000 mainframe series delivers fully automatic operation—including automatic level setting, tuning, fundamental nulling, and display autoranging—to minimize test time and operator error. The DA4084 replaces manual procedures with hands-off measurement once mode selection and test signal application are complete, making it ideal for manufacturing QC, R&D, and radio equipment characterization.
