The Tektronix OCP5002 W OA5002 is a 2 GHz optical converter and power meter for precise optical-to-electrical conversion and power measurement in optical communication systems. The OCP5002 plug-in module operates across the 1100 nm to 1650 nm spectral range with 260 ps risetime and delivers 1 V/mW conversion gain at 1300 nm. Integrated optical power metering spans +7 dBm to −80 dBm dynamic range with <5% accuracy at 1300 nm. The paired OA5002 optical attenuator provides 0 to 60 dB continuous attenuation in 0.01 dB steps across 750 nm to 1600 nm, enabling precise control of optical signal levels for characterization and measurement.
