The Tektronix P80318 is an 18 GHz differential Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) probe for high-fidelity impedance characterization of differential transmission lines. It delivers 100 OHM differential impedance with 50 OHM odd mode input impedance, enabling direct in-circuit testing of fully balanced differential signals without ground contact. The probe’s adjustable pitch spans 0.5 mm to 4.2 mm, accommodating diverse differential line spacings and impedances. With a reflected TDR fall time of 20 GHz
• Probe Propagation Delay: 1.0 ns typical
• Probe Delay (SMA to tip): 1 ns typical
• Reflected TDR Fall Time: <39 ps
• TDR Control Activation Force: 150–200 grams per probe half
• Maximum Input Voltage: 5.0 V
