The Tektronix TG2000 is a modular signal generation platform engineered for multiformat analog and digital test signal creation across video, audio, and broadcast applications. Its nine-slot mainframe accepts plug-in generator modules, delivering reference-grade performance across SMPTE and EBU standards. The platform combines RAM-based signal generation with nonvolatile storage, programmable system clocks, and full remote control via RS-232, optional GPIB, and ground closure interfaces supporting SCPI commands.
