The Velonex 587 is a voltage and current surge generator engineered to meet ANSI/IEEE C62.41-1980, IEC 664-1980, IEC 801-5, and ANSI/IEEE 62.41-1991 standards. It generates three distinct waveforms for comprehensive low-voltage AC power circuit surge testing: an oscillatory ring wave, an open-circuit exponential waveform, and a short-circuit exponential waveform. The unit operates from 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz single-phase power and delivers three front-panel selectable surge outputs with independently selectable polarity.
