The Yokogawa 701974 is a passive, low-capacitance probe engineered for high-frequency signal acquisition up to 5 GHz. It minimizes loading effects on the circuit under test, preserving signal integrity and measurement accuracy across DC to 5 GHz bandwidth. The probe features selectable attenuation ratios of 10:1 or 20:1, achieved by resistor replacement at the probe tip, enabling flexible impedance matching for various measurement scenarios.

• Passive topology eliminates power supply dependencies for portable field deployment
• Field-selectable attenuation via resistor module for impedance optimization
• Operates across wide voltage range with nondestructive input tolerance to 40 V ACpeak
– Typical Applications
• High-frequency signal acquisition and analysis to 5 GHz
• Low-loading measurements on sensitive circuits and transmission lines
• Applications requiring minimal probe-circuit interaction
– Compatibility & Integration
The probe connects via BNC and requires 50 Ω oscilloscope input impedance. Oscilloscopes without built-in 50 Ω termination require the optional 700976 external 50 Ω pass-thru terminator. Compatible with Yokogawa oscilloscopes and other high-performance instruments. Optional DC Block 701975 and SMA(J)−BNC(P) adapter available for extended integration.
