The Abaco Systems VIPC616 is a 6U VMEbus IndustryPack carrier that bridges IndustryPack modules to VME systems via mechanical mounting and electrical interconnection. It accommodates up to four single-wide or two double-wide IndustryPack modules, with front panel I/O routed through 50-pin ribbon cable connectors. The carrier supports I/O, ID, memory, and interrupt cycles across 1024 bytes of A16 VMEbus short I/O space, allocating 128 bytes per IndustryPack module.
