The VMIVME-2700-200 is a 16-channel optically coupled digital I/O board designed for VMEbus systems requiring high-isolation signal interfacing. Each channel configures independently as input or output, with optical coupling delivering 1.5 kV sustained and 3.5 kV pulsed isolation between channel and bus. The board accommodates input signals from 5 to 125 VDC, sinks output current to 300 mA at 30 VDC or peak AC, and supports both voltage and contact sensing modes. Built-in-Test capability enables rapid fault detection on inputs and outputs. The double-height 6U Eurocard format fits standard VME racks and connects via front-panel barrier strip connectors with user screw terminals.
