The Abaco Systems / VMIC VMIVME-5588-310 is a high-speed fiber-optic reflective memory board for VMEbus systems that enables deterministic, low-latency data sharing across distributed nodes. Operating at 1.2 Gbaud serially, this single-slot 6U module supports up to 256 nodes in a daisy-chain ring topology. Data written to local SRAM is automatically broadcast to all networked nodes without software intervention or I/O overhead—ideal for real-time applications demanding tight synchronization.
