It connects to PC/AT Single Board Computer (SBC) IDE controllers through VME P2 user-defined pins, supporting 3.5-inch 1.44 MB floppy drives, hard disk drives, and optional Flash memory. The module operates at +5 V with maximum spin-up current of 2.5 A (typical <1.0 A) and includes both 34-pin floppy and 40-pin IDE connectors.
