The Agilent/Keysight 1660A is a logic analyzer for digital system debugging and validation across embedded systems, ASIC development, and digital design. It captures and analyzes complex digital signals using state and timing analysis modes.
Technical Specifications
Channel Configuration
Available in 34, 68, 102, and 136 logic analyzer channels. Half-channel modes support expanded memory configurations.
State Analysis
• Sampling rate: 100 MHz
• Memory: 4K samples per channel (8K in half-channel modes)
• State clocks/qualifiers: 2, 4, or 6 (varies by model)
Timing Analysis
• Conventional timing: 250 MHz (all channels) / 500 MHz (half channels)
• Transitional timing: 125 MHz (all channels) / 250 MHz (half channels)
• Glitch timing: 125 MHz (half channels)
• Timing resolution: 2 ns
Display & Interface
Gray-scale CRT graphical display (later models feature VGA color flat-panel). Advanced triggering with graphical trigger macros. The 1660AS series integrates a 2-channel oscilloscope with 1 GSa/s sampling rate and 8K samples per channel for capturing non-repeating events.
Storage
Selected models include 2 GB hard drive and 1.44 MB floppy drive.
