The Agilent/Keysight 85320B is a reference mixer module that downconverts microwave signals to 20 MHz intermediate frequency for use in distributed frequency converter systems and network analyzer applications. It enables accurate characterization and systematic error correction in RF and microwave measurements by operating in conjunction with Agilent/Keysight 85309A/B LO/IF distribution units and associated test equipment.

Technical Specifications

The 85320B is available in three distinct configurations. The standard model operates from 2 GHz to 26.5 GHz across fundamental mode (2–18 GHz) and third harmonic mode (6–26.5 GHz). The H20 option covers 0.1 GHz to 3.0 GHz and integrates with HP 85309A/B H20 and H21 distribution units. The H50 option extends operation to 50 GHz maximum.

Connector types vary by configuration. Standard units feature Type-N female connectors on all ports except the RF input (3.5 mm male). The H20 option uses Type-N female connectors on all four ports.

Physical dimensions differ across variants: standard 85320B measures 92 mm (W) × 185 mm (H) × 25 mm (D) and weighs 840 g; the H20 variant is 97 mm (W) × 122 mm (L) × 34 mm (H) and weighs 1 kg.
