The Keysight M9801A is a PXIe-based vector network analyzer module designed for modular RF and microwave test systems. It operates from 9 kHz to 6.5 GHz and is available in 2-, 4-, or 6-port configurations. Multiple modules cascade within a single PXIe chassis to create multiport VNAs with up to 50 ports, enabling simultaneous N-port measurements with full error correction. The M9801A delivers dynamic range, measurement speed, trace noise, and temperature stability across demanding RF applications.

– Compatibility & Integration
The M9801A integrates with 18-slot PXIe chassis including the M9018B (PCIe Gen 2, up to 708–858 W total module power) and M9019A (PCIe Gen 3, 24 GB/s maximum system bandwidth, 8 GB/s slot-to-slot bandwidth). Both chassis occupy 4U of rack space and feature temperature-controlled cooling with auto-speed fans for optimal module thermal management. AC input supports 100–120 V (1200 W max) and 200–240 V (1300 W max) configurations.
