The Amplifier Research PH2000-Adapter is a dual diode power head that integrates with Amplifier Research PM2002 and PM2000 series power meters to measure RF and microwave power. It converts incident RF power into proportional voltage for meter processing, delivering accurate measurements across a wide frequency range with minimal mismatch error and drift.
Technical Specifications
Frequency & Power Range
• Frequency range: 10 kHz to 8 GHz
• Power measurement range: −60 dBm to +20 dBm
• Maximum RF input: 300 mW (CW), 1 Watt (1 µs peak)
• Impedance: 50 Ohms
Performance Metrics
Standing wave ratio varies across the operating band: 1.12 (10 kHz–2 GHz), 1.20 (2–4 GHz), 1.40 (4–8 GHz). Drift and noise are exceptionally low—150 pW typical lowest-range drift (1 hour, post–2-hour warm-up) and 80 pW RMS noise at 2σ. Power linearity uncertainty at 50 MHz: <1% (below 20 dBm after AutoCal), 3% (10–17 dBm), 6% (17–20 dBm). Temperature coefficient: 0.02 dB/°C (0–25°C) and 0.01 dB/°C (25–50°C).
