The Ando AQ8201-33 is a precision optical attenuator module designed for integration into Ando AQ8200 series mainframes. It provides variable attenuation of optical signals across the L-band, enabling accurate control of signal power for testing, calibration, and characterization of optical components and systems. The module accepts singlemode fiber signals via FC/APC connectors and delivers attenuation up to 60 dB with minimal insertion loss and polarization-dependent loss, making it suitable for DWDM and broadband optical testing applications.
