Designed as a 2-slot plug-in for the AQ8201 series optical test systems, it provides stable attenuation from 0 dB to 20 dB in 0.5 dB increments across the C-band and L-band spectrum. With insertion loss of 3 dB or less and optical return loss exceeding 40 dB, the module maintains signal integrity for demanding WDM component characterization. Each of the four channels operates independently, enabling simultaneous multi-channel attenuation in applications ranging from DWDM system evaluation to amplifier testing.
