The Anritsu 37247D is a two-port vector network analyzer engineered for precise RF and microwave measurements across 40 MHz to 20 GHz. It delivers S-parameter characterization, gain compression, mixer analysis, and multiport testing capabilities with 1 Hz frequency resolution. The instrument supports automated calibration including SOLT, offset short, waveguide, and Multiple Line methods across SMA, 3.5 mm, GPC-7, Type N, 2.4 mm, TNC, K, V, and W1 connector standards. Adapter Removal Calibration enables accurate non-insertable device measurement, while Power Meter Correction ensures flat, leveled output across frequency sweeps. Dual independent source control accommodates mixer, multiplier, and frequency-translated device testing. Optional capabilities include Time Domain, harmonic, and Intermodulation Distortion measurements, plus optoelectronic device analysis. The 37247D operates in both R&D and production environments across defense, satellite, radar, and broadband communication markets. Economy variants serve passive-device applications; premium configurations support active and passive components. Configurable reference impedance (other than 50Ω) provides measurement flexibility. Dual GPIB ports enable system control and external peripheral integration via IEEE-488.2, with ASCII and 32/64-bit floating-point data transfer formats. Ethernet connectivity accelerates data throughput.
