The Anritsu MT8801B is a communication test set engineered for RF characterization of 2G/3G radio systems across 300 kHz to 3 GHz. This platform delivers call processing, sensitivity testing, transmission measurements, and signal analysis capabilities for GSM/DCS1800/PCS1900, IS-136A, PDC, and PHS standards. High-speed adjacent channel power and occupied bandwidth measurements exploit proprietary DSP algorithms, with batch transmission testing completing in approximately 1 second. A built-in thermocouple power sensor measures average and leakage power from 0 to +40 dBm on the MAIN connector.
