The card bridges VME and PCI architectures, enabling high-speed data transfer for FPDP devices and other PMC peripherals. It supports A32/A24/A16 addressing modes and delivers 32-bit VME master/slave capability with full system controller functionality. Two single-width PMC slots accommodate any combination of PMC modules, providing flexible configuration for multi-function deployments. The on-board Tundra Tsi148 VME-to-PCI bridge handles protocol translation between the VMEbus and 64-bit PCI bus operating at 33 MHz or 66 MHz. Power delivery includes 3.3V and 5V rails derived from VME backplane supplies. LED indicators provide power-on status visibility.
