The Dicon GP700 (1×100) is a general-purpose fiber optic switch platform that routes optical signals through passive switch elements without optical-to-electrical conversion. Operating independently of wavelength, direction, bandwidth, data rate, and format, it accommodates multiple switch modules, attenuators, couplers, and other fiber optic components across 6U extended rackmount, 4U standard rackmount, 2U half-rack, and benchtop chassis configurations. The platform controls up to 30 1xN switches, tunable filters, or variable attenuators, or up to 64 2×2, 1×2, or On-Off switches per housing, with larger configurations achievable through multiple units.
