The MTL5018 is a two-channel resistance isolator that interfaces switches and proximity detectors located in hazardous areas with safe-area control circuits. Each channel delivers independent relay outputs with user-selectable phase reversal to signal alarm conditions. Line fault detection (LFD) identifies open or short circuits in field wiring. The unit provides 250V RMS/DC isolation between input, output, and power terminals and conforms to intrinsic safety standards for Zone 0 and Division 1 hazardous locations.
