The Emerson/Motorola MVME147SA-1 is a single-height 6U VME processor module built around the Motorola MC68030 CPU running at 25 MHz, paired with an MC68882 floating-point coprocessor at 25 MHz. This VME64-compliant board delivers 32-bit data path processing with up to 32-bit addressing capability, 8 MB of dual-ported parity DRAM, and 2 KB of NVRAM with real-time clock functionality. It integrates Ethernet (10 Mb), narrow SE SCSI, four asynchronous serial channels, an 8-bit bidirectional parallel port, and block transfer support via the VMEchip ASIC, which can serve as system controller with global timeout, arbitration, and interrupt acknowledge daisy-chaining. The board measures 233.4 mm (H) × 160.0 mm (D) × 19.8 mm (W) and supports multiple operating systems including VxWorks, LynxOS, pSOS+, OS-9, and BSD variants.
