The EXFO EPX 400 OC-48/STM-16 Transmitter is a modular optical signal source for SONET and SDH protocol testing at 2.488 Gb/s. This module generates stable, accurate OC-48 and STM-16 signals with full payload and overhead control, enabling characterization of optical transceivers, transmission lines, and network equipment. It integrates into any EXFO EPX series chassis alongside up to 16 other modules for simultaneous multi-port testing.
