The EXFO FTB-500 is a modular universal test platform built for field and laboratory deployment across physical, optical, transport, and data communication layers. It combines an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with Windows-based control, a 12.1-inch color touchscreen (800 × 600 resolution), and support for 4-slot or 8-slot module configurations. The platform accepts any EXFO FTB plug-and-play module, enabling backward and forward compatibility with both existing and future test modules.
