Fluke 2686A Stand-Alone Datalogger. Data Acquisition up to 120 channels

The Fluke 2686A is a stand-alone datalogger for precision data acquisition in industrial and laboratory environments. It supports up to 120 universal analog input channels per chassis with scalable architecture extending to over 2,000 channels system-wide. Built for remote and mobile deployment, the 2686A uses removable ATA flash memory cards (16 MB to 1 GB, up to 2 GB) for stand-alone logging without continuous computer connection. The system accommodates six module slots per chassis: five slots for 20-channel analog input modules and one slot for either an additional analog input module or digital I/O relay module. Universal input modules accept any combination of measurement types—DC/AC volts, ohms, frequency, RTD, thermocouple, thermistor, and current. Precision Analog Input (PAI) modules deliver 16–18 bit resolution at 0.02% accuracy with input isolation to 300 V and 1600 V transient overvoltage protection. Fast Analog Input (FAI) modules provide 16–18 bit resolution at 0.04% accuracy with throughput exceeding 3,000 channels per second per chassis. Digital I/O relay modules include 20 digital channels, 8 Form C relay outputs at 1 A, and an up/down counter with preset capability for direct equipment control and alarm response. Thermocouple support spans types J, K, R, S, T, N, I, U, C, and B with superior measurement accuracy. Compatible with networked Fluke 2680A systems for enhanced data security and centralized monitoring.
