The Omega CT7000 is a microprocessor-based circular chart recorder that measures, displays, records, and controls up to two independent process variables. Built around a 254 mm (10″) circular chart and dual 4-digit LED displays, it accepts thermocouple (J, K, T, E, N, R, S, B, C), RTD, and DC voltage/current inputs. Three front-panel keys enable instrument configuration with user-selectable display resolution and 1 to 20 scan averaging filters.

– Key Features
Each of the two pens includes dual independently programmable alarms configured as process high/low, deviation from setpoint, or deviation band with adjustable hysteresis. Optional control outputs include SPST relay (115 Vac/230 Vac at 250 VA), SSR driver (open-collector), and 4–20 mA DC or 0–20 mA DC into 650 Ω. PID control parameters include proportional band (1–3000 units), manual reset (−1500 to 1500 units), rate/derivative (0–10 min), and cycle time (1–240 s). Process values can be retransmitted via optional 4–20 mA DC output. Integrated 24 Vdc transmitter power supply delivers up to 40 mA. Digital communications available as an option.
– Typical Applications
Industrial process monitoring and control in thermal management, furnace operation, temperature profiling, and multi-point data logging where dual-variable simultaneous recording and alarm handling are required.
