The Fluke DSP-100 LAN Cable Meter is a field-upgradeable digital cable tester that delivers fast, accurate diagnostics of twisted pair and fiber optic cabling systems. It performs comprehensive testing up to 155 MHz with TIA Level II accuracy for Basic Link and Channel classifications. The instrument combines wire mapping, length measurement, propagation delay analysis, and crosstalk detection in a portable form factor, completing 4-pair Cat 5 cable tests in 17–20 seconds. Auto-diagnostics are presented in graphical and text formats, with fault pinpointing via Time Domain Crosstalk (TDX™) analyzer. The DSP-100 stores up to 1,150 TIA TSB-67 test results or 600 ISO test results, backed by internal battery retention for five years. Field testing is enhanced by hub port locator functionality and network traffic monitoring on 10BASE-T and Ethernet systems. Optional Fluke DSP-FTK Fiber Test Kit extends capability to fiber optic cables. Windows-based DSP-LINK software enables rapid data transfer and parameter updates.
