The HP/Agilent 54820A Infiniium Oscilloscope is a 2-channel, 500 MHz real-time oscilloscope engineered for design validation, troubleshooting, and signal analysis. It captures waveforms at 2 GSa/s simultaneously on both channels with 32,768 points of memory per channel, delivering 700 ps rise time performance. The instrument combines an intuitive analog-style front panel with a Windows-based GUI, providing immediate familiarity alongside advanced measurement capabilities. Real-time, equivalent-time, and peak-detect sampling modes accommodate diverse signal types, from DC transients to high-speed digital edges.
