The HP/Agilent 8714B is a compact RF network analyzer that integrates synthesized source, transmission/reflection test set, and CRT display into a single instrument for rapid characterization of RF components from 300 kHz to 3 GHz. Built for production environments, it delivers S-parameter analysis, insertion loss, return loss, impedance, and group delay measurements with greater than 100 dB dynamic range in narrowband mode. The instrument combines digital signal processing with microprocessor control to maximize measurement throughput.
