The HP/Agilent 8722D is a 40 GHz vector network analyzer delivering precise S-parameter measurements from 50 MHz to 40 GHz. The instrument combines a fully synthesized, fast-sweeping source, tuned receivers with variable bandwidth IF filters, and a built-in solid-state switching test set in a single compact unit. Measurement updates occur as rapidly as 1 ms per point with 1 Hz frequency resolution, enabling accurate characterization of narrowband and long-delay devices.
