The JDSU RX3008+Z0001 Backreflect Meter is a multichannel instrument for precision measurement of backreflection, loss, and optical power across single-mode and multimode fiber networks. It performs return loss (RL) and power measurements on individual fibers and ribbon connectors, supporting automated multifiber testing in production environments. The meter’s measurement range and sensitivity scale with detector selection—a 2 mm InGaAs detector for high-sensitivity single-fiber applications, or a 5 mm Ge detector for ribbon fiber connectors accommodating up to 8 multimode or 12 single-mode fibers.
