The Kepco MST 36-5M is a 180W programmable DC power supply module delivering 0–36V DC at 0–5A. This 1/9 rack-width, 4U plug-in module combines switching technology with linear stabilization to achieve high efficiency and tight regulation. The hybrid architecture delivers 5 mV p-p source ripple and 3.0–4.0 mV p-p switching ripple at 100% load across the specified temperature range, with 10 mV p-p noise performance.
The MST 36-5M accepts wide-range AC input (88–264V AC, 47–63 Hz) and features active power factor correction exceeding 0.98 to meet EN 61000-3-2 compliance. An advanced current-mode controller ensures stable operation in demanding applications. The module integrates comprehensive protection: overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, polarity reversal, and power loss circuits. Built-in relays enable output switching and two-quadrant polarity reversal operation.

## Compatibility & Integration
The MST 36-5M mounts in Kepco Rack Adapters (RA 55, CA 400). Control interfaces include a single address, dual-wire serial control bus (375 kHz) for direct PC or GPIB controller integration. Optional IEEE 488.2 GPIB interface (MST 488-27) allows one GPIB address to manage up to 8 MST modules or 19 additional supplies.
