Equipment info

The Keysight E8719A Radar Target Solution is a laboratory radar target simulator engineered for validation of automotive radar sensors in the 76–81 GHz band. It delivers realistic target returns under controlled conditions, eliminating over-the-air testing complexity while measuring critical performance parameters including range, velocity, and signal strength. The system supports single and multi-target scenarios with up to three simultaneous targets, full 5 GHz instantaneous bandwidth, and distance simulation from 3 to 300 meters with ±0.05 meter accuracy. Enhanced for 4D imaging radar architectures, the E8719A provides 80 dB gain control, coherent multi-target simulation, and OTA calibration via the U9361M Receiver Calibrator for automated, repeatable measurement routines. API command support enables seamless integration into automated test environments. Optional horn antennas and front-end brackets are available. A calibrated IF port permits connection to external measurement devices.
