The Keysight N2263A is a 32-bit digital input/output module that provides flexible interface capability for automated test systems and data acquisition. It delivers 32 bidirectional digital I/O lines with TTL compatibility, three dedicated handshake/control lines, and configurable control modes—static, strobe, and handshake—enabling precise external device control and monitoring. Each I/O line sinks up to 0.6 A and supports open collector output to 42 V, making it suitable for driving high-current loads such as relays and solenoid coils. The module offers byte-by-byte I/O configuration and addresses lines individually, as dual 16-bit ports, or as four independent 8-bit ports. Logic polarity is selectable across I/O and handshake lines. Zener diode input protection and ESD protection on each channel guard against overvoltage conditions exceeding 42 Vdc. Five configurable handshake modes facilitate complex data transfer protocols with peripheral instruments.
