Equipment info

The Keysight N9953B FieldFox is a handheld microwave analyzer delivering spectrum analysis, vector network analysis, and cable/antenna testing in a single portable instrument rated to 54 GHz. Built for field deployment, it operates across demanding environments with a sealed, water-resistant chassis meeting MIL-PRF-28800F Class 2 and MIL-STD-810G standards. The base model includes Cable and Antenna Tester (CAT) functionality; optional modules unlock Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Spectrum Analyzer (SA), vector voltmeter, power meter, and digital demodulation capabilities. Real-time analysis bandwidth reaches 120 MHz gap-free, supported by 115 dB system dynamic range for S-parameter measurement. GPS/GNSS integration enables geolocation and timestamped signal capture. Recorded IQ data streams to PathWave Vector Signal Analysis (89600 VSA) software for post-acquisition analysis, including MAC/RLC/RRC-layer decoding across multiple radio frames.
