The Keysight U2049XA is a LAN-connected peak and average power sensor for RF and microwave measurements spanning 10 MHz to 33 GHz. It delivers a 90 dB dynamic range across -70 dBm to +20 dBm, capturing both low-level signals and higher power outputs with measurement speeds up to 50,000 readings per second in average mode. The sensor supports peak, average, peak-to-average, time-gated, and pulse parameter analysis—including rise time, fall time, pulse duration, and duty cycle. Built-in triggering with TTL-compatible SMB connectors and external trigger support enable synchronization across multiple daisy-chained sensors. LXI Class C compliant Ethernet connectivity with Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Type 1) permits remote operation up to 100 meters without separate power infrastructure. Internal zero and automatic calibration reduce measurement uncertainty while eliminating manual intervention. A 5 MHz video bandwidth supports time selectivity in average mode with variable aperture duration. The 3.5 mm APC connector accommodates standard RF connections. Keysight BenchVue software integration streamlines control and analysis workflows. Thermal vacuum (TVAC) compliant variants address specialized environmental test requirements.
