The Laser Precision TD1000A is an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) engineered for comprehensive testing and analysis of optical fiber networks. It detects backscattered light, measures fiber attenuation, evaluates splice and connector joints, and precisely locates faults within optical fibers. Designed as a portable instrument with capabilities comparable to mainframe OTDRs, the TD1000A serves FTTH, CATV, and LAN network deployments.
