The LeCroy 324A is a 4-channel digital oscilloscope delivering 200 MHz bandwidth with single-shot sampling to 1 GS/s across all channels or 2 GS/s interleaved, plus RIS capability to 100 GS/s for repetitive signals. Built around a 7.5″ color TFT-LCD display and 500 kpts memory per channel, this instrument captures up to 500 µs of waveform data at full bandwidth and provides 8-bit vertical resolution across a 2 mV/div to 10 V/div range with ±(1.5% + 0.5% of full scale) DC gain accuracy.
The 324A executes edge, glitch, period, pulse count, and TV triggering with 26 automatic measurement parameters including rise/fall time, frequency, duty cycle, overshoot, and peak-peak voltage. An onboard 6-digit frequency counter, FFT math (up to 8 kpts), and waveform replay of 1024 acquisitions enable rapid signal characterization. Input specifications include 400 V CAT I rating, 1 MΩ || 20 pF input impedance, and selectable DC/AC coupling on all channels.
Timebase spans 2 ns/div to 50 s/div with 10 ppm accuracy; roll mode extends to 50 s/div at 100 kS/s for low-frequency observation. The 1.75 ns rise time and 1 ns peak detect period resolve fast transients. Connections include USB host/device ports for peripherals and remote PC control, plus optional GPIB and LAN interfaces. At 3.2 kg and 190 mm × 285 mm × 102 mm, the 324A operates from 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz and fits bench, field, and rack environments.
