Equipment info

The LeCroy WaveRunner 6100A is a 1 GHz bandwidth digital oscilloscope engineered for high-speed signal acquisition and precision transient capture. With 4 channels, 5 GS/s per-channel sampling, and interleaved rates to 10 GS/s, it delivers single-shot time resolution of 200 ps at standard rates or 100 ps when interleaved. The instrument achieves 200 GS/s via Random Interleaved Sampling (RIS) and sustains a 140,000 waveform/second trigger rate. Record lengths scale from 1 Mpts per channel to 24 Mpts when interleaved, supporting extended signal analysis without external processing. Trigger jitter measures ≤3 ps rms with 2 ps typical residual jitter, ensuring timing accuracy for demanding validation work. The integrated Windows XP platform enables direct waveform analysis on-board, eliminating the need for external PC integration.
