The LX Lightwave LDC-3724 is a precision laser diode controller delivering integrated current and temperature management for laboratory and industrial applications. It provides dual-range laser current sourcing (0–200 mA and 0–500 mA) with ±0.05% FS accuracy, photodiode feedback control for constant optical power regulation, and TEC control up to 16 W or 32 W across a temperature range of −100°C to 199°C. Three operating modes—low-bandwidth constant current (DC to 15 kHz), high-bandwidth constant current (to 1 MHz), and constant optical power—accommodate diverse laser tuning and modulation requirements. Short-term current stability reaches <20 ppm, while temperature control achieves ±0.004°C short-term stability with 0.01°C long-term performance. Multi-layer protection includes independent current limits, slow-start turn-on, isolated power supplies, fast output shut-off, and output shorting relays.
