The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 2023B is a synthesized signal generator spanning 9 kHz to 2.05 GHz, engineered for laboratory, production, and maintenance testing. It delivers precise frequency control with 1 Hz resolution and output spanning -140 dBm to +13 dBm standard (up to +25 dBm with high power option). The instrument combines excellent spectral purity—harmonics better than -30 dBc and non-harmonics better than -70 dBc to 1 GHz—with comprehensive modulation capabilities including AM, FM, phase modulation, pulse, FSK, and two-tone modes. An internal LF generator (0.01 Hz to 20 kHz) supports both linear and logarithmic sweep functions. All operating parameters except power control are remotely programmable via GPIB and RS-232 interfaces.
