The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 2026B is a multisource signal generator delivering independent RF signal synthesis across 10 kHz to 2.51 GHz. Two sources come standard with an optional third, enabling complex receiver and component testing including intermodulation, selectivity, and amplifier characterization. Each source operates independently with 1 Hz frequency resolution and 0.1 dB level control, supporting AM, FM, phase modulation, FSK (2- and 4-level), and pulse modulation. A built-in switched combiner network reduces measurement uncertainty while user-defined tracking and adjustable carrier phase optimize intermodulation peaking.
