Built around a low phase noise signal generator, it enables FM receiver noise characterization and narrow-band receiver testing with signal-to-noise measurements exceeding 46 dB on 12.5 kHz channel spacing. The instrument combines field portability with laboratory-grade precision through a full-performance spectrum analyzer, tracking generator, and duplex operation as standard features.
