It characterizes components and subsystems across a 10 MHz to 8.4 GHz scalar measurement range, with spectrum analysis extending to 20 GHz and optional capability to 110 GHz via external waveguide mixers. The instrument delivers simultaneous insertion loss and return loss measurements, >80 dB dynamic range for filter testing, and spurious measurement performance better than -60 dBc on full-span sweeps.
