The Molex/Woodhead/SST 5136-DNP-PCI is a 32-bit PCI interface card that implements the DeviceNet protocol in hardware, delivering high-performance industrial communication for control systems and automation applications. This short-form card executes the entire DeviceNet protocol at the hardware level, eliminating software bottlenecks and enabling simultaneous master (client) and slave (server) operations. The card supports Group 1, 2, and 3 dynamic explicit connections via UCMM, accommodates up to 32 nodes on the DeviceNet network, and operates across all standard DeviceNet baud rates: 125, 250, and 500 kbaud, with CAN data rates up to 1 Mbaud. A bicolor LED provides network status indication, while 500 V optical isolation protects the CAN interface.
