The Moxa CN2500 is a 16-port asynchronous serial communication server that bridges legacy serial devices to IP networks. It enables remote access, management, and control of RS-232 equipment across industrial automation, SCADA, and device management deployments. The unit combines 16 serial ports with a single 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface, real COM/TTY drivers for Windows and Linux, and comprehensive protocol support including PPP/SLIP, RIP I/II routing, and RADIUS authentication.
