The Newport 1830-R-GPIB is a single-channel low-power optical power meter engineered for precision measurement across laboratory and production environments. As a redesigned successor to the Newport 1830-C, it delivers a drop-in replacement with enhanced analog output accuracy and full command compatibility with both legacy 1830-C and current 19xx-C systems. The instrument combines a 4½-digit LED display with three computer interfaces—USB 2.0, GPIB (IEEE-488), and RS-232—enabling integration into automated test systems and legacy equipment configurations.
