The Newport 6000 Laser Diode Controller paired with the 6505 driver module delivers precision current and temperature management for laser diode characterization and control. Built on advanced 16-bit technology, this modular mainframe accommodates multiple laser diode driver modules across four fully isolated bays. The system provides direct access to laser diode parameters—forward voltage, current, and optical output—plus thermoelectric cooler (TEC) characterization. Complete remote control is available via GPIB/IEEE-488.2 and RS-232C interfaces, with LabVIEW drivers supplied at no cost.
