It pairs a quad-core Intel Atom E3845 processor running at 1.91 GHz with a Xilinx Kintex-7 325T FPGA, delivering both real-time processing and reconfigurable hardware acceleration. With 2 GB DRAM, 16 GB internal storage, and support for up to 32 GB SD card expansion, the cRIO-9039 executes advanced control algorithms, hardware-accelerated functions, and precision timing tasks. The controller runs NI Linux Real-Time (64-bit) and supports application development via LabVIEW 2014 SP1 or later with the Real-Time and FPGA modules. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) enable networked deployment; RS-232 serial (115,200 bps max), RS-485/422 serial (1.2 km range), and dual USB 2.0 host ports provide legacy and peripheral connectivity. A Mini DisplayPort connector supports local HMI integration.
