The NI GPIB-1014P is a GPIB to VMEbus interface card that bridges IEEE 488 instruments to VMEbus-based test systems. Operating as a complete IEEE 488 talker, listener, and controller, it enables bidirectional communication between legacy GPIB devices and modern VME architectures. The card supports polled and interrupt-driven transfers with data rates up to 1 Mbyte/sec using DMA, making it suitable for high-throughput automated test environments.
